The other day I looked through some of the images I created over the summer and realized I’d completely missed sharing many most of them with you all.
Even though I made them during warm weather, many had a fall theme, likely a reflection of my longing for cooler temperatures.1
As I browsed my AI images, I realized several (loosely) involved transportation of one kind or another.
They’re also an amazing reflection of how far Midjourney has come in the 2 1/4 years I’ve been using it. It wasn’t until a few months ago that it was able to create credible kayak paddles, for example.
Trains (and train tracks, in particular) have consistently flummoxed Midjourney — but it appears it’s beginning to get the hang of them.2
Summer’s over and most of the fall leaves have dropped, which means I’m already doing less photography — and have way more time for AI.3 Stay tuned.
I actually really like summer, with the exception of the excessive heat it brings.
I can’t tell you how many times Midjourney has popped up train tracks with right angles, not to mention trains coming straight out of houses.
“To every thing there is a season.” While AI may not have been exactly what the Old Testament had in mind, that sentiment still holds true.

Beautiful work! I love it!!
I especially love the airstream in the desert!
