I’m not sure exactly when or why I was originally inspired to make AI critters with green top hats for St. Patrick’s Day. Regardless, I’ve made many attempts over the last week or two, and only a handful actually worked. It was almost as if certain animals were opposed to appearing in AI images, particularly while wearing goofy human hats.
Happily, neither the badger above nor the kitten below were reluctant to show up and have fun with me.
Another raccoon showed up too.
In the middle of generating all those Irish-looking critters, I ended up with one from our own species. She, too, is wearing a green hat … even if you can’t see most of it.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day. May your beer be green and your hangover nonexistent.
Post Script
I learned yesterday that Midjourney had released its newest version on Wednesday. Of course I couldn’t wait to try it. I decided to start with the portrait of the woman above. This was the result.
I used similar prompts for both. Big difference, huh? I still haven’t seen what it can do with images that aren’t photographic in style.
